The U17 Spanish national team has brilliantly achieved the semi-finals of the European championship in Lithuania. In a very tough group with England, Italy and Poland, the Toña Is’ girls have finished as leaders of their group and they will play the semi-finals on Friday. This last weekend begun in England the UEFA Euro U17 championship. 16 teams will fight to reach the continental tittle in the final that will take place in Roterham on the 20th of May. European leagues are close to the end and bit by bit the champions are unveiled. One of the most important ones, the Premier League, this year is very close to us, the MICFootball’s family. Not just because the coach is Pep Guardiola, one of the first ambassadors of our tournament, but because one of the players that have participated in this tittle dazzled us some years ago playing different editions of our tournament, Brahim Díaz. This weekend has been very special for a player that not long ago left his mark at MICFootball. The Palamós-Costa Brava Municipal Stadium and the Vilatenim Stadium in Figueres hosted five simultaneous finals this morning in the closing ceremony of a MIC - Mediterranean International Cup which this year celebrated its 18th anniversary. This Friday the municipal football field and the basketball court of the Institut de Vidreres hosted the MICIntegra. The tournament, which offers inclusive sports practice to people with intellectual disabilities, has reached its sixth edition with a breaking-record participation.
