He started scoring for the French team and did so before the quarter-hour mark with a goal from Antoine Valero. The attacker faced the goalkeeper and beat him with a strong shot. The tricolor team has not given up, gaining meters as the minutes progressed and tied shortly after. A low cross in the heart of the small area was connected by Rodrigo Pociello, who sent the ball into the net. With the score tied at half-time, the tie was broken just at the start of the second half when Naoufal El Haimir scored the second with a powerful shot that the goalkeeper could not clear. Even Andorra could have scored the third, already in the final stretch and with the game wide open, when they sent a shot against the crossbar.

Without a goal conceded, FC Andorra surpassed the group stage with full victories before leaving rivals such as Aquahotel FC, OVT Academy, Shakhtar Donetk and Real Sociedad by the wayside in the qualifying rounds. They have become the champion of the youth category (U18) and are the third top scorer (20 goals), only surpassed by Athletic Club (23) and Real Sociedad (22).

Ebrima Tunkara, with a header at the end of time, gave victory to the FC Barcelona cadets in the final of the U16 category that pitted the Blaugrana team against Girona FC in Palamós.

He was in the last action of the match, in a service from the corner that ended with the goal of the African footballer after 50 minutes dominated by Barça, who did not manage to materialize with clear opportunities their control of the ball against a a well-positioned opponent, who was able to resist and who starred in some attacks, without much success in the last meters. It was Barça who took the initiative and looked for the goal with insistence. Proof of this are some arrivals in the first half, such as a long shot that grazed the left post or a lateral foul that caught the white-and-red goalkeeper, very surely.

History repeated itself after the break, but neither team managed to open the scoring until the last action. Corner served from the right of the attack, with the ball hanging on the far post and Tunkara taking advantage, with a header, of his teammate’s assistance to decide the final.

Sergi Font was in charge of opening the scoring in the early stages of the first half, when he was left alone in front of the goalkeeper and beat him with a strong shot placed at his right post. The tie was narrowly missed just two minutes later with a subtle touch from Iker Duran, who was smarter than anyone and took advantage of his defender’s confusion to finish. The ball went out by very little. Before the break the second could have fallen for Espanyol with a shot from Unai Balmon that missed the target by centimeters.

The second act was also very balanced and although Espanyol had victory within reach, in the last breath Adrián Serrano equalized when he finished a quick attack by sending the ball far from the goalkeeper’s reach. Maximum excitement in the penalties until the decisive goal from Eloi Pedragosa, which decided the final for his team.

The Madrid team, coached by Borja Resurrección, brother of first team player Koke, narrowly defeated Villarreal CF and did so thanks to a goal that came in the 18th minute of the match. The final was quite balanced and although there were some dangerous chances in each goal, the scoreboard did not move any further.

He scored for La Plana in the 21st minute through Alejandro Nacher, faster than any rival when collecting a dead ball after impacting the post of the goal defended by Jordi Danso. Until then, a lot of respect between one and the other team and few arrivals in the opponent’s area, but from 0-1 onwards the Girona team went up a gear and approached with some danger. Before the break they enjoyed a triple chance but the defense, very well positioned, prevented the tie. In the second act, this tone was repeated and Girona looked for the goal with insistence. He enjoyed an indirect free kick inside the area that he was unable to convert and in the last minute, the goalkeeper went up twice to finish off two corners, although the scoreboard did not move.

After getting through the group stage with a flurry of victories, Villarreal CF needed penalties to eliminate Global Málaga in the round of 16, they won European Soccer in the quarterfinals and in the semifinals they also needed kicks from eleven meters to leave out Sporting Badalona. He was the third top scorer in the category, with 12 goals.

The FC Andorra are the new winners of the U13 category of MICFootball after beating the Italian AC Milan this afternoon in Vilatenim.
