Girona FC player Arnau Martinez, who took part in the MICFootball back in 2015, was the honorary bearer of the presentation of the 21st edition of the tournament.

“It is an honor to be the godfather of this edition after having lived it from the inside”, began by saying Arnau Martínez, who played three editions of the MIC and who insists that “the experience I have had is very nice. The fact of playing against different teams that you don’t have in the league is very nice and I can only be grateful. I hope the boys enjoy themselves, it’s to have fun and build a team. It’s spectacular”.

The MIC is a different tournament since it gives many the opportunity to play against big clubs like Barça, Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester United or Girona itself. “All people want to play against the best in the world. Even if you end up losing, I think it’s very good to learn from the team and rival you play against and to go with the motivation to try to beat whoever. It’s a very important fact for the boys and girls.”
